Gourav Vallabh, a former Congress spokesperson, is expected to leave the party today and join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to Vallabh, he left the Congress party because he couldn't stand the "directionless way" the party was going.

He added that he was not allowed to insult India's wealth producers or shout slogans against Sanatana Dharma. He added in his letter that the Congress has lost all ground connection since the party has not grasped the goals of the true India.

The former spokeswoman for the Congress added that the Congress cannot successfully carry out its oppositional obligations or gain political influence as a result of the loss of the ground level connection.

Additionally, he stated that until party employees are allowed to speak with their leaders directly about their problems, no meaningful reform will be possible. Gourav Vallabh went on to say that even though the party was responsible for the liberalization, privatization, and globalization programs of 1991, its position on India's wealth producers has always been to mistreat and degrade them.

In his correspondence, Vallabh expressed his dismay at the Congress party's stance on the January 2018 Ram Mandir pran pratishtha ceremony.

"The Congress party's stance on the Ram Temple pran pratishtha ritual in Ayodhya disgusts me. I was born into a Hindu family and work as a teacher. I was never comfortable with the party's particular stance and constantly felt apprehensive. According to Vallabh, certain party members and INDI alliance members criticize Sanatana, and the party's silence on the matter is akin to silently endorsing the phenomenon.

Additionally, he claimed that although the party talks about the caste census, it appears to be an anti-Hindu political organization. "The public is being misled by this working style into believing that the Congress supports a specific faith. This goes against the Congress's core values," the former spokeswoman declared.

Mallikarjun Kharge's campaign for Congress president was managed by Gourav Vallabh. In 2019, he ran for office in Jamshedpur East, Jharkhand, but was defeated by Saryu Roy and the then-CM, Raghubar Das. He ran in the Rajasthan assembly election of 2023 from the Udaipur seat. By a margin of more than 32,000 votes, he lost the seat.
